Drawing inspiration from Tyler Remekie’s cover for Dave’s We’re All Alone in This Together, this piece reimagines an airship drifting across a dreamlike ocean beneath a golden African sunset—a symbolic nod to the artist’s Nigerian heritage. The imagery pays homage to the iconic Scarface moment, “The World is Yours…,” reinterpreted here as “The World is Ours,” merging cinematic grandeur with cultural pride.
The work has been rendered in the style of a 100-dollar bill, merging fine art with pop-cultural currency. This format places the piece within the artist’s growing 100 Dollar Bill Collection, alongside tributes to Dave’s debut Psychodrama—winner of the Mercury Prize and a Brit Award—and his second album We’re All Alone in This Together, which also secured a Brit Award.
Dave’s music, often rooted in his upbringing in Streatham, South London, blends eloquent storytelling with intricate wordplay and sharp social commentary. This artwork seeks to capture both the personal and universal elements of his artistry—an emblem of ambition, identity, and cultural influence.
